1. The St. Patrick’s Two Nighter at Workman’s Club

St Paddy made it true! Two consecutive nights of fun, music and celebration prepared by the Workman’s Club just for your entertainment.

Today the Dublin 4 piece rock band, Vicious Fishes will delight us with their unique mix of styles, from afro and blues to hip hop and new wave. After them, it will be time to change a little with Free Sunshine Acid and their psychedelic rock, the epic band Sun Mahshene and finally Beach. Definitely a great blend of music to make your Thursday taste even better! whelans

Not happy with this amazing evening, the Workman’s Club will make us enjoy more if possible of the official date with Bodies, Mustard and DJs playing music all day long!

2. Festival Céilí

For those of you wondering what “céilí” really means, the word implies social events with Scottish or Irish folk music and singing, traditional dancing, and storytelling. This may give you an idea of what this event will be all about and you wouldn’t be wrong! 1

The Festival Céilí is an event programmed for today by St Patrick’s Festival to warm up before the big day. It’s made for all of us who want to really get in the traditional Irish celebration of St Patrick’s Day. You will learn the dancing steps while listening live music, so be prepared for a very fun and amazing afternoon!

3. Irish and Spanish Legends

Bard Richard Marsh, a member of Dublin Yarnspinners, will reveal us in form of stories those little magical secrets that Irish and Spanish folklore share.

From Mouros, Leprechauns, the Urco and the Púca to the similarities the Galician Saint Patrick and the Irish share, he will discover us the deepest and best kept stories. Are you going to miss them?
