Women rock!

Women have proved that they can definitely rock! The music industry is not dominated by men anymore. There are many female rock artists such as Joan Jett, who gained a huge audience with her hit I love rock’n’roll or Blondie, Roxette, Evanescence, Paramore, and the Pretty Reckless.

Social Grand hosts two concerts by female artists,

Girls Rock Dublin presents :

Æ MAK- pop music with the soft voices of vocalist Aoife McCann and Ellie McMahon combined with interesting sounds, which remind you of the wildness of nature.

Susie Blue was formed in 2012 with Susie blue – main vocalist/guitarist, Caolan Moore- Lead guitar, Tom Carlin- Drums and Feargus Murphy- Bass. They play pop/rock music, however, a combination of words and music give you energy and make you relax while listening to Susie’s gentle voice.

Alien She- punk band was formed with three talented girls. They put their own experience into music. Expressing feelings through poems and hard music make this band unique.

The tickets cost 10 euros.

The Girls who rock concert will take place on 30th March. During the gig, you will get to know incredible gifted young Irish musicians, who will entertain you with pop, rock, folk and blues music. Undoubtedly, the show will be fascinating, featuring a wide range of music genres on one stage. You will see musicians such as Naoise Roo, Everything Shook, Ruth, Rosa Nutty, I’m niamh and Davida Brady.

The tickets cost 5 euros. The gig kicks off at 8 pm.
