The “undisputed King of Cool” comes to Dublin next summer!

Multiple Grammy and Juno awards winner Michael Bublé announced his concert in Croke Park on Saturday 07 July today.

The concert will be fully seated, although it is really hard to stay in your chair with the infectious rhythms of jazz and swing all around you. The rich baritone that will transport you to the era of great crooners in the 1940s and his boyish charm will guarantee you a great evening out.

The tickets from €89.50 including booking fee go on sale this Friday, 17 November at 9 am at Ticketmaster.ie and all Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

Although the official breakthrough in Bublé’s career came in 2003, with the release of his major label debut album “Michael Bublé”, the real success followed in 2005, with the release of “It’s Time”. This album included a variety of classic standards like “Can’t Buy me Love” and “Feeling Good” accompanied by an original single “Home”. Since then, the Canadian singer released five more albums, bringing jazz classics to the 21st century while scoring his own hit singles “Haven’t Met You Yet”, “Everything” and “Lost”.

His albums feature great collaborations – Nelly Furtado, Reese Witherspoon and even the legendary jazz singer Tony Bennett.

The concert in July will be one of his first major appearances since Bublé and his wife, model Luisana Lopilato, announced that they were taking break from their careers to care for their eldest son Noah, diagnosed with liver cancer in November 2016. It was confirmed that four-year old Noah was “doing very, very well” after the treatment and now the couple were “looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow”.

Michael Bublé says “I can’t wait to come over to see my fans in Dublin and play Croke Park for my largest ever Irish show!  You guys have been patient and I can’t thank you enough for all your support. And for those of you that haven’t seen me live, well… I just haven’t met you yet!
