Irish Health and Wellness Company Announces 100 New Jobs in Dublin

The Irish company Spectrum Wellness, a corporate health and wellness provider, will create 100 jobs in Dublin as part of a new €4 million investment.

The provider said the roles will be in the areas of account management, marketing, operations, product development and mental health case management.

Stephen Costello, co-founder and managing director of Spectrum Wellness, said that these jobs have been created because of the significant growth in Irish business.

The company said it will also expand its business and plans to launch it in the UK next year, and other markets will follow closely by 2020.

Mr. Costello said, “We are currently looking at a range of funding options that will support our international growth.”

Spectrum Wellness provides health and wellness services to 175,000 employees in 1,000 companies across Ireland, offering a range of services and programs covering employee health, mental health, corporate gym management and screening. Clients include Aer Lingus, Dalata, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Bank Ireland and Iarnrod Eireann.

The company was founded in 2012 and is expected to have a turnover of 4 million euros this year. The guaranteed contract will reach 7 million euros by the end of 2019.

Mr. Costello stated that“The investment in jobs is a clear signal about the confidence we have in the future of the company, not only in Ireland but in markets such as the UK, Europe and the US.”

The announcement was welcomed by Heather Humphreys TD, Minister of Commerce, Enterprise and Innovation.

“As an Enterprise Ireland client, it’s fantastic to see this young company doing so well, and I wish the team at Spectrum Wellness every success as they continue to grow the company in Ireland, and fulfill their international ambition,” Minister Humphreys said.
