FESTIVAL – Bloomsday

This Saturday and every 16th June, Bloomsday celebrates Thursday 16 June 1904, the day depicted by James Joyce in his famous novel Ulysses. This particular day is named after the main character of the novel, Leopold Bloom. For this occasion, a lot of events are organised such as guided tours visiting the places where the book takes place, theatre, readings… Check out the whole programme here.

FESTIVAL – Dalkey Book Festival

The Dalkey Book Festival is an annual event taking place in June every year since 2010 in the seaside town of Dalkey which has a rich literary heritage, since it is for instance the birthplace of George Bernard Shaw.
