Alt-j @ Trinity College
The series of summer concerts at Trinity college continues with the English based Indie Rock band Alt-j. Their debut album An awesome wave released in 2012 immediately won the admiration of the audience and the press. It was chosen for the album of the year at the Ivor Novello Awards and BBC Radio 6. Their third studio project Relaxer was freshly released in June this year, so don’t miss the chance to hear it live tonight live for the first time in Ireland.

TLMT on Film presents: Love & Mercy
The Irish music blog The Last Mix Tape presents the first film from the series TLMT on Films at the Lighthouse tonight. Love and Mercy is a tale of distinct periods from the life of Beach Boy Brian Wilson. Dramatic and powerful representation about the reincarnations which the person behind the Beach Boys sound had through his career. John Cusak and Paul Dano show the life, love and genius of the artist in a 120 minute emotional drama.
The movie starts at 6:30pm.

Lee Fields and the Expressions @ Sugar Club
One of a kind soul artist who recorded his first single in 1969 and is still evolving his sound with every gig. During his prolific 43-year career he has toured with such figures of soul and R&B as Kool and the Gang, Hip Huggers, O.V. Wright, Darrell Banks, and Little Royal. Legend retro-soul unforgettable performance at The Sugar Club.
