Top 3 events Thursday

1. Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 & DJ Krafty Kuts at The Sugar Club

DUDJ are committed to bringing you the cream of the crop when it comes to selectas of varying genres of music; this night in conjunction with ChoiceCuts is just that!

Chali 2na (born Charles Stewart, Jr.), originally from South Side Chicago, first gained an interest in graffiti writing before getting into music. Both activities were his way of steering clear of drugs and gang life, and also influenced his decision to move to Los Angeles with his grandmother in his mid-teens. 12

With his identifiably deep baritone voice, Chali emerged as J5’s most popular member and was frequently tapped for guest appearances on many other artists’ material over the years, like that of Swollen Members, Linkin Park, Blackalicious, Kardinal Offishal, and Roots Manuva.

Today, The Sugar Club brings a very special late night show with Jurassic 5 supremo Chali 2na and DJ Krafty Kuts, in conjunction with DUDJ and Trinity College Dublin.
