Software company Sage to create 300 new jobs in Dublin

Accounting software firm Sage has announced the opening of its new Dublin headquarters, which will create 300 jobs in “in marketing, sales and services”.

Its new Sandyford centre will provide sales support to its “1.8 million customers in Europe”. Sage has an existing office in Dublin that currently employs 250 members of staff.

A technology hub

The city has seen similar moves from companies such as Accenture and Workday, which recently promised 200 new jobs each, reinforcing the Irish capital as an important “technology hub”, as stated by Prime Minister Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
