On the 9th of November Yelp and Image Interiors & Living will be hosting Dublin Design Night. This is a night to encourage creativity, with a host of events around the city to unveil some of Dublin’s hidden design gems. Here, you’ll not only get to meet artists, but see them at work.
Starting at 6 our first stop is Article, where you’ll meet textile designer Jennifer Slattery.
Next is The Garden, where you’ll be guided through ideas for winter floral arrangements.
At The Designist, Mark Flood invites you to take part in a custom window illustration (boozy hot chocolates included).
Straight after head to Industry & Co for food! They will be serving Moroccan inspired hot pots.
Irish Design Shop are hosting illustrator Fuchsia MacAree (and a pop up shop), followed by more flowers at Appassionata Flowers where you’ll be learning to spiral a posy!.
Jill & Gill at Scout will be screenprinting totes.
Tamp & Stitch next store will be hosting medieval calligraphy demonstrations with spiced wine(!).
Popping into Cows Lane Designer Studio will give you the chance to meet with milliner John Shevlin before visiting the poster exhibition at Indigo & Cloth (we’re almost done).
To finish up, the Jam Art Factory are holding a live drawing session with artist Joe Rooney.
