Dun Laoghaire Christmas Festival
The Dun Laoghaire Christmas Festival is running from 25th of November to 8th of January at various places around Dublin. A part of The Festival is a market that will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 7pm and as well every day of the week leading up to December 23rd at Dun Laoghaire Town Centre. There is a diverse programme of events taking place all around the town.

The Green Door Market
The Green Door Market
The Green Door Market runs every week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and takes place next to the Dublin Food Co-op at Newmarket in Dublin 8. It is a new indoor food and Farmer’s Market. Opening hours are on Thursday and Friday 12pm to 7pm and on Saturday 9:30am to 4pm. Admission is free.

Salvation Army Christmas Carol Concert
 Salvation Army Christmas Carol Concert
The Salvation Army Christmas Carol Concert takes place in St. Stephen’s Church (The Pepper Canister), Dublin 2. The event is featuring by The Tallaght Choral Society and St. George´s Brass Band. Come on Friday at 6pm to have a cultural experience. Admission is free, but there will be a voluntary collection for The Salvation Army’s work with the homeless.

Cornucopia – Live Music
Cornucopia Café & Restaurant host live music three evenings a week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You can enjoy Country, Bluegrass & Blues, popular and Jazz classics and on Friday Junshi Murakami plays the Irish Harp. Ska ‘n’ Reggae with The Bionic Rats

The Dive Bar (downstairs in Turks Head) has a theme night “Ska ‘n’ Reggae” every Friday. You will hear The Bionic Rats play live and you can stay until late to enjoy some DJs. Come today to the Dive Bar on Parliament Street, Dublin 2 at 9pm. Admission is free.
