Healthcare companies to create 340 jobs in Dublin

This week, Dublin’s health sector has seen two major boosts as care home operator Carechoice and Spanish healthcare firm Grifols announced new investments, which will, according to them, will be creating 340 jobs.

Carechoice is seeking nurses, health care assistants, management, catering staff, and two activity leaders.The 200 jobs will be in the company’s 165-bed unit on Dublin’s Malahide Road.

Oh the other hand Grifols, maker of blood plasma solutions, is opening a new base for its bioscience division at Grace Castle Business Park. The IDA is backing the new 22,000 metre site in a $100m investment.

Technology

Also this week, US tech company Pivotal announced 130 jobs across Dublin and Cork together with an investment of €100m. The company is to open a new office in Dublin and hire more people in Cork.
