There are some great cafes and restaurants, whether you want to grab something to eat or sit down for a proper meal. Starbucks is perfect for a coffee in the morning, while Joe’s Café and Le Pain Quotidien serve a great lunch. L’Officina is a beautiful Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian food. Whether you want a light lunch such as pizza by the slice, salads and sandwiches (please please try the Gorgonzola bites and arancini, you won’t be disappointed), or a proper sit down venue for delicious Italian meals (think pasta, risotto, fish and meats). Stone Ground donuts and the Crêperie Angélie offer the perfect snack when wandering between shops (This is me telling you to try the donuts – they’re too good to miss!). Newly opened Hatch and Sons offers delicious treats such as Eton mess, brownies cookies and muffins.
Alongside the many familiar brands is the unique Só Collective, a curation of pieces from Irish designers. It aims to showcase the imagination of Ireland in the form of men’s and women’s clothes, accessories and home wear. Here you will find established designers such as Stephan Pearce, Maurice Clarke and Paul Costello alongside emerging brands and designers such as Tissue, Laura Kinsella and Martina Hamilton. This boutique brings together the warmth and simplicity of luxury Irish designs.
