So this week, what’s it going to be? Thriller or comedy? Well there is no shortage of either in the cinemas.
The highly anticipated Girl on a Train has been adapted from the book. It is a thriller that follows the disappearance of Rachel’s ex-husband’s new wife. She woke up unable to recall what happened the night of the disappearance… and the police are keen to know where she was. Book your tickets to find out how the story unfolds.
Bridget Jones’ Baby seems to have a different review depending on who you talk to. Some people love it, others hate it. I guess you’ll have to see it for yourself to decide! It is a sequel to the last Bridget Jones film, but this time sees Bridget finished with Mr Darcy and taking a fancy to an American gentleman Jack. Then she finds out she’s pregnant, and in true Bridget Jones style, she doesn’t know who the father is. Book tickets to find out.
Mattress Men is an Irish film that is centered around the persona Mattress Mick. This name could mean everything or nothing to you. This film is actually a documentary about how Mattress Mick (Michael Flynn) met Paul Kelly, the man behind who brought Mattress Mick to the world. It follows their journey through the recession and how they remade themselves and survived their hardest times to come out on top.
If you’re looking for a laugh, Sausage Party could be what you’re looking for. Packed full of stereotypes and adult humour (it’s actually the first R rated animated film). The film follows food items as they discover what life they are destined for. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
