LinkedIn Officially Opened its Purpose-Built Facility in Dublin

Oficially opened by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald, the new office at Wilton Place cost ¢85 million and is the company’s first purpose-built building outside of the US.

The building has 17.650 sq metres, and was built to accomodate the 1,200 staff working for LinkedIn in Ireland and will serve the entire EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

During an interview with The Irish Times, Sharon McCooey, head of LinkedIn Ireland said that it’s a magnificent commitment to Dublin and that it’s LinkedIn’s largest operation outside the US. “It is an investment in our team. We are creating a remarkable workplace to do remarkable things,” she said.
