Have you plans for the Easter weekend?

Are you looking a peaceful place? Do you want to hear the sound of nature? Good, Connemara it’s the right place for you!

Connemara is one of the most iconic of Ireland’s destinations! Oscar Wilde defined the beauty of this place as “savage”…and he was totally right!  There are a lot of observation points in the 12 km panoramic route from where you can observe the beauty of the place.

You can’t miss visiting Kylemore Abbey, this 19th century abbey was built for an English businessman, Mitchell Henry, who spent his honeymoon in Connemara. You can visit just some rooms of the house but don’t worry because if the weather is good you will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the beautiful gardens or you can also admire the lake down the Gothic church.

What is the best place to have a break close to Kylemore? Maybe to have a picnic with friends? Connemara National Park of course! In the visitor centre you can take information about park’s fauna (including elephant hawk moth and red deer) and flora and enjoy a break in the lovely tearoom.

Are you tired? You can’t be! Because in Connemara there are a lot of things to do, and the time during the week end runs very fast! You should choose what you like between the small Sheep and Wool centre, in which you have the possibility to learn everything about wool or The Round stone musical instrument with the little folk museum!

Anyway enjoy these couple of day in one on the most beautiful places in Ireland!!
