Today, my tip is for those who are passionate about a bargain. The Dublin Flea Market takes place on the last Sunday of every month in Dublin 8. The market is indoors, so don’t worry about the unpredictable Irish weather! There are over 60 tents, selling vintage clothes, bikes, furniture, books and many others items – all for a good value.
If your stomach starts to scream during shopping time, don’t worry… falafel, cakes, pizza and Greek dishes are all on offer waiting for you. The co-op’s food store also has a great selection of organic products for the organic lovers.
Not much money to spend? Fear not, enjoy the music and atmosphere – a mix of djs and live bands usually entertain the crowd there.
It is now the Dublin Flea Market´s seventh year in existence. The market opened its doors for the first time in November 2008 at the Co-op on Newmarket square, and continues to be a great attraction and day out for all.
The next one is going to be this Sunday, open from 11am to 5pm.
