O'Connell Street Christmas Lights Switch On
The O’Connell Street lighting ceremony is on November 27th. The Programme will kick off at 4 pm on O’Connell Street. The Christmas Lights will be switched on at 6 pm. Free family entertainment and a special guest to turn on the Christmas lights is waiting for you.

Winter Funderland
Winter Funderland
The Winter Funderland is the largest indoor event of its kind in Europe. It takes place in Simmonscourt, RDS Ballsbridge Dublin 4 from 15th of December to 10th of January. Visitors can come from 12 pm to enjoy attractions to suit all ages and tastes. This annual event for thousands of  families is one of the venues that feature up to three Roller Coasters, a Giant Ferris wheel, and as many as fifteen different thrilling attractions carefully selected from among the top attractions in Europe. Funderland is celebrating over 41 years at the RDS.

Dun Laoghaire Christmas Festival
Dun Laoghaire Christmas Festival
The Dun Laoghaire Christmas Festival is running From 25th of November to 8th of January. The festival market will be open on the Metals (the historic route that brought stone from Dalkey Quarry to the harbour Dún Laoghaire) Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 7 pm and as well every day of the week leading up to December 23rd at Dun Laoghaire Town Centre. There is a diverse programme of events taking place all around the town.

The event will kick-off with the Festival Opening Ceremony. Santa arrives to Harbour Plaza on Saturday November 26th with Christmas Carols and festive fun at 5:30pm. A fireworks display will illuminate the night sky to officially switch on the Christmas lights. Flavours of Dún Laoghaire Christmas Kitchen will be at the junction of Marine Road and George’s Street from November 25th to 27th and Black Friday will see special offers and free food sampling all over the town. Come to enjoy family fun and Christmas atmosphere.
