Celebrating Cultures, Promoting Integration
Ireland is famous for its ability to drink and all things fun/alcohol related. And to celebrate great drinks is Tipple Town. From the 18th -20th of November, Dublin will be home to this free festival. For any die hard drinkers or those who enjoy the odd glass, Tipple Town has a whole host of activities throughout the three days. The events are taking place at Wigwam on 54 Abbey Street Middle.
Starting on Friday at 5pm, head to the Wigwam Bar for the Brewtonic Beer Club that will start off the evening. There will be events running till 11 pm that night (a great way to get warmed up for the rest of the weekend!)
Saturday has a whole host of events lined up including coffee tasting, ice carving, beer pong, a pamper afternoon for the ladies (manicures, masseuses and most importantly, G&Ts) and Arabian nights with a screening of Aladdin accompanied by shesha and Opihr Oriental spiced gin.
Sunday will finish up nicely with the VICE Irish Coffee Championships, hot toddies, The Gentleman’s Salon (featuring hair/beard trims and whiskey) and more.
For the full agenda for the festival and times, it’s all here.
The Brewtonic Cocktail competition will take place on Sunday at 8 at the stage, and you are invited to enter! On one condition – your cocktail has to include beer (in some form or another). Entry forms can be found here.
Most importantly, there will be food to accompany the drinks throughout the three days. This includes the Dublin Doughnut Company (as if we needed another excuse to attend).
If you have any doubt about any of the events check out their facebook page for updates and details!
See you there!
