Wednesday 11th of September is expected to be a sunny and warm day as the end of the summer is in sight. 

Ireland has lots to offer for the day and Babylon Radio lays them out for you; 

dlr First Frames – Creative Short Films

Two short films will be previewed tonight. A statement by Eventbrite.ie states “Both films were created through the dlr First Frames Scheme funded by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council & Dún Laoghaire Local Enterprise Office, with support from IADT.”

The films are The Lighthouse – directed by Ciarán Hickey/produced by Bjorn Mac Giolla & First Disco – directed by Helen O’Reilly /produced by Helen O’Reilly & David Christopher Lynch. Executive Producer Jim Sheridan

When: Wednesday, 11th of September 2019, 7om to 10 pm 

Where: Studio, Ground Floor (beside Café), dlr LexIcon, Queens Road, Dún Laoghaire

Craft Beer & Seafood Trail

Thus walking tour will see fun lovers meet at the Legendary Bloody Stream Pub, where craft beers from North County Dublin will be sampled. Also, tales of Howth’s ancient past will be recounted. 

This event will then be moved to Howth Harbour, where the seaside town’s magnificence will be enjoyed. 

The organizers ‘Hidden Howth Experiences’ have said a selection of seafood including Dublin Bay Prawns, Mussels, Oysters, Crab Claws, Calamari etc will be made available on the day. 

When: Wednesday, 11th of September 2019, 3 pm to 6 pm

Red Cross Open Night

The Red Cross in Ireland is hosting an event where people can witness how ambulance equipment are being used. You can also see if you would like to join up as a volunteer.

When: Wednesday, 11th of September 2019. 6.30pm – 8.30pm 

Where: Sunshine Industrial Estate, Crumlin, Dublin
