Landmark Comedy feat. Laura Byrne & more

Delighted to have the fantastic Laura Byrne headline the show today. Laura is one of the best in Dublin and is always so enjoyable to watch. She has performed in every major venue as well as taking a couple of cracking solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Support on the night comes from a couple of competition winners and finalists as well as some absolutely cracking performers!

The Film Scene

The Film Scene will take place this month upstairs in Workmans. They will be screening multiple student-made short films and having a Q&A with their respective casts. Come along and support local student filmmakers!

Are you looking to network with other film students and get your projects off the ground? Then this is the place for you. You never know who you might end up working with!

Vincent – A Play by Leonard Nimoy at Draiocht

In this Irish première, against the visual backdrop of over one hundred of his greatest masterpieces, director Christine Scarry and actor Peter McCamley gloriously recreate the world of the misunderstood genius, giving the audience a moving insight into the turbulent life and times of the great painter. Anyone who loves art, passion and life itself should see this play; it is a renewing experience and an insight into one of history’s most gifted, haunted masters.

This powerful, moving play was written and originally performed on Broadway by Leonard Nimoy (better known to audiences as Star Trek’s Mr. Spock), for which he garnered a Tony Award.
