Tribes by Nina Raine

On 23rd of October, The Gate Theatre will organize a play called ‘Tribes’. Nina Raine started to think about families and their own rituals. In some families, you go on holiday and have to bring a novelty magnet home. In others, the family would balk at you for bringing anything back at all. Tribes, created by Nina Raine focuses on a funny Jewish British family, with one deaf child. The plot has stories about love, language, steadfast beliefs and hierarchies.
