Nothing But A Toerag – theatre piece

‘Nothing But A Toerag’ is a dark comedy about dealing with your demons and the effects of suppressing trauma. We meet two women locked away in a cell and a tense drama unfolds. Watch as two alpha females struggle for dominance in the confines of their shared space.

RIAM Guest Lecture by Katharina Uhde and Michael Uhde

Violinist Katharina Uhde and her father Michael Uhde visit the Academy for the first time to deliver a lecture entitled ‘Joachim in Ireland’. Having recently presented the first modern performance of a lost score by the legendary violinist Joseph Joachim, their fascinating insight into arguably one of world’s greatest violinists of all times, and his visits to Ireland, will no doubt be of interest to audiences.

Scott Matthews – singer/songwriter

Scott Matthews’ ground- breaking debut album, ‘Passing Stranger’ earned him serious critical acclaim with its mix of folk, rock, blues and Eastern-inspired song-writing. From here Scott went on to perform on a number of international sell-out tours with respected artists. Scott’s brand new and sixth studio album is called “The Great Untold”.
