1. Gypsy Rose Rock & Blues Bar two consecutive days concerts
Do you love music? Do you appreciate great venues? Then believe me when I say this is your place to go this weekend!
Once again Power of Three brings us great concerts. Today Joca, the 3-piece Rhythm & Blues and Rock n’ Roll group formed in 2014, will be continuing delighting their audience with covers of many of the classic Rhythm & Blues, Rock & Roll, Blues & Rock songs from the 1950’s, 60’s & 70’s along with their own numbers. Be sure to get there and enjoy Barry Donnelly, John Murray and Luca Filippini music live! They will count with their special guest, ZAR, and you could also enjoy the DJ until 2.30am.
On Saturday, we will be finally able to see Accidents In The Workplace, the band who comes from the sumptuous suburbs of Dundalk and trendy potholes of Emyvale. Their blend of funk, rock, blues and “other” creates the musical equivalent of sprinkling salt and pepper on a bowl of ice cream. And that’s not all, they will be having as their guests Soul Badger & Bring Out The Chimp!
It goes without saying that these will be a highly promising couple of nights!
Where: Gypsy Rose Rock and Blues Bar, 5 Aston Quay, Dublín Dublin 2
When: Fri 10 at 20:00, Sat 11 at 20:00.
Price: Joca €5, Accidents in the Workplace €6

2. Joris Voorn at Button Factory
The music hasn’t even started yet, but the crowd is already going wild.
When Joris Voorn starts to work his turntables, the audience goes ballistic. Everyone starts to dance pumping their fists, and screaming. Voorn looks out over the crowd, a goofy grin adorning his face, and keeps playing. He dances too, bouncing back and forth on the balls of his feet, his expression oscillating between intensity as he twists a knob and ecstatic as he observes his audience. His beats are unique, and everyone at his shows loves them.
Joris Voorn sits at the epicenter of the Dutch electronic music scene, the most renowned and instantly recognisable artist from Holland, representing underground house and techno on a wider global stage. He is a regular fixture at all of the key clubs and festivals on the global underground circuit performing multiple weekly shows at events across Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Colombia, Israel, Detroit, Chicago and New York.
Today, Paradox & Curve are presenting Joris Voorn in a never seen before 3D laser show and will be counting as well with a very special guest, Jamie Byrne, to make us all get in the mood to fully enjoy this night.
