Over half of the week is over now and before you start to prepare for the weekend, you may want to have some fun first. Babylon Radio has prepared a Top 5 list of events for the 10th of October for you.
As part of the Festival of Irish Whiskey and Taste the Island, five iconic whiskey brands from Dublin have collaborated to host an evening of whiskey tasting at Arthur’s Bar, Thomas Street. All money raised during the evening goes towards Solas Project, a charity based in The Liberties, Dublin 8.
The distilleries and brand homes offering a tasting are: Jameson Distillery Bow Street, Pearse Lyons Distillery, Roe & Co., Teeling Whiskey Distillery and The Dublin Liberties Distillery. The evening is meant to give an insight into what you can expect when visiting each brand home.
“Labhraidh Loingseach has a secret. He wears his hair long and he has it cut only once a year. Once a year on the same night in the same place and in the same style. But never by the same barber.”
The Ark presents a brand new show by Wayne Jordan and Tom Lane for ages 8+. The Haircut! is a cautionary tale about secrets and stifled creativity. About fighting for what you believe in and standing up to power. It is a fairytale remixed and retold, underlined with a live musical soundtrack.
