Looking for something to spice up your middle of the week? To get out of the mid-week funk? Babylon Radio has prepared a list of events for you to do just that.

Dublin Historic Pub Trail: Grafton Quarter

Dublin is justifiably famous for its pub culture. On this tour you will learn the history of four city center clubs. The tour will be led by historian Gerard Farrell who has written historical profiles for several of the businesses you will see on this trail.

Where: The International Pub, 23 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2

When: 6pm-7.30pm

Cost: 30€ (food and drink included at tour stops)

Graffiti Party at TRAMLINE

Tramline is putting together a Graffiti Party! They will be giving out 1000 white T-Shirts and neon markers for all guests to draw on each other. This event will be accompanied by 90s/chart/dance music in the main room and disco music in room 2.

Where: TRAMLINE, 21 D’Olier Street, Dublin 2

When: 10.30pm-3am

London Mozart Players with Howard Shelley

Howard Shelley, world-renowned pianist and conductor of the London Mozart Players is coming to Dublin as part of the orchestra’s 70th birthday celebrations. They will play late Mozart masterpieces like his Concerto in C and pieces by his revered older contemporary Haydn along with Prokofiev’s witty and affectionate tribute to the classical style.

Where: National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2

When: 8pm-9.30pm

Cost: ranges from 19.50€ to 27.50€


Social Enterprise Summit

The Social Enterprise Summit will bring together international, national and local stakeholders and social enterprise representatives to discuss the current status and future of social enterprise development in Dublin and Ireland. They will provide insights on trends, challenges, opportunities and the social enterprise ecosystem.

Where: Council Chamber, Dublin City Hall, Dame Street, Dublin 2

When: 9am-1pm

Decade of Commemorations Quiz

Dublin City Council’s historians challenge you to take part in a table quiz testing your knowledge of modern Irish history. In particular about the Decade of Commemorations. Teams of 4 will face 8 rounds of questions asked by quizmaster David McCullagh and will have the chance to win great prices.
