Beginner to Improver Tennis Coaching

Are you looking to get fit while having fun in 2020? Do you want to be more like Serena Williams? [I know I am]. Then what better way than trying your hand at tennis? You get to jump around and hit balls with rackets all at the direction of the experienced coaches at LLC Tennis. You’ll be learning all you need to know about the basics of tennis including getting to know your equipment, how to hit that ball with the sweet spot on that racket every time, as well as a couple of basic tennis moves and manoeuvres. So whether you want to get a handle on that ever-important hand eye coordination or you’re looking to perfect that topspin with the help of experts, this tennis coaching session is for you. Monday Language Exchanges @ D Two 

Monday can be fun guys, I promise. What’s more, it can be fun and educational! And what’s even more? You can make friends too! Three benefits for the price of one language exchange at D2 tonight at 6:30PM. At these exchanges all levels are catered to for those interested in learning a variety of languages including [but not limited to]Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Chinese, and Japanese. You’ll be sitting across from the table from a native speaker of your target language and you’ll get 5 minutes to get acquainted with each other in english, then 5 minutes in your target language before switching tables to converse with another native speaker. The Monday Language exchange is perfect for those who might be a little nervous learning a new language as the atmosphere is relaxed, the service is high quality and professional, and it’s only €5 [with snacks included!]. So go on guys, get chatting!

Weekly Laughing Yoga

Laughter yoga [Hasyayoga] is a practice based on the fact that voluntary laughter gives your body the same physical and psychological benefits of natural laughter. You’ll be practicing in groups with eye contact, jokes, and a bit of playful banter to inspire your giggles and guffaws. In no time your counterfeit cackles will turn into full blown belly bellows, leaving you elated this evening. No mats, equipment, or fancy frocks needed. Just turn up and get ready for giddiness. Drop In Beginners Swing Class in Phibsborough hosted by Dublindy

The Happy Feet swing dance club is perfect for junior jivers looking to better their boogie. You’ll have some happy hepcats for instructors walking you through all you must-have moves, plus it’s a great way to get in touch with more modern Irish dance culture. Swing, jive, and social dance are pretty big in Ireland, with competitions being held all over the country. Plus it’s a great way to get that heart rate going without even noticing you’re working up a sweat! If you’re looking to bust a move and reign in those twinkle toes, then this is the event for you!

Alrighty loyal chuckle heads get ready for a Monday night to remember at Heat 3 of Dublin’s Next Top Comic. Ten comedians will compete to leave you in stitches, but only one will grand prize of €600. It’s like being the live audience at a live reality show and you get to be a natural laugh track. If you’re looking for a fun way to start the week then pop on down to The Comedy Shed.
