The Dublin Football clubs below mostly play in the Eircom Premier League. The clubs are made up mostly of Irish players although there have been a lot more foreign players in recent years, especially from cross-channel. The quality of the league is also on the increase, with the introduction of an under 21 league and of the number of young players coming back from the UK, who have gained great experience through international underage teams under Brian Kerr.
