Ireland certainly boasts a wealth of talented and successful musicians. Although not all of them manage to cross the borders of the country, that doesn’t mean that in other European countries they have succeeded as much or more than in their own. So, these are some of the most famous Irish singers in Spain.


Hailing from Ireland, U2 have been playing since 1976 and growing in popularity over the years. It was in the 80s when the Irish band began to become known worldwide, and they gave their first concert in Spain in 1987 in Madrid on the occasion of the tour of their album The Joshua Tree, thus achieving the recognition and admiration of the Spanish public.

The band had more success among the Spanish public between the years 2008 and 2014 thanks to those songs.


Kodaline is another of the bands that achieved fame as of 2012. Their most famous song, All I want and others from the same album, were included in episodes of some well-known series of those years, such as Grey’s Anatomy or The Vampire diaries, and also in some films like Love, Rosie or The fault in our stars, making them more successful.
