Malahide Castle and Gardens
Malahide Castle is one of the oldest castles in Ireland. The legend says that it has still haunted by the ghost of the Talbot Family! You can reach Malahide easily by DART and (if the weather is good) you could enjoy a walk in the beautiful gardens of the castle (the admission is free).
Howth
This small fishing village is just 28 minutes far by DART from Dublin centre. There are a lots of little delicious fish restaurant in which you could stop to have a lunch. Howth is also famous for its fascinating walking. You can enjoy the view of the UNESCO Biosphere.

James Joyce Tower
“He faced about and blessed gravely thrice the tower, the surrounding county and the awaking mountains” This is the opening location of Ulysses.
Located just south of Dun Laoghaire (around 30 minutes by DART) this tower overlooked Sandycove and hosts the James Joyce Museum (it is open from 10am to 6pm and the admission is free!).
Bull Island
Can you imagine that 200 years ago Bull Island didn’t exist!? Where did the surfers meet each other before? Dollymount Strand is absolutely the biggest attraction of the island. if you love Kitesurfing, you will love this sandy strand!
Killiney
Killiney is located in the South of Dublin, it is less than an hour by DART. If you decide to go here don’t miss the wizard white obelisc that overlook the bay.
