The Silk Road Film Festival (SRFF) or Silk Road International Film Festival takes place in Dublin across various locations from Wednesday 8th March – Sunday 12th March 2017.
This festival celebrates cultures by promoting cinema on an international level and facilitates the cooperation between filmmakers from all around the world.
The festival derives its name from the ancient network of trade routes that, stretching from Europe across the Asian continent, used to connect the West and the East. Similar to the ancient trade routes’ function of interacting with different countries. Join them for classes and workshops by renowned filmmakers like Mahmoud Kalari and Vittorio Storaro, film screenings and chats with experts from the industry.
This festival focuses on Middle Eastern, African, Persian, Arab, Asian, Mediterranean and European cinema. Ticket prices vary depending on the event you want to visit.
