Huge fire guts Grande-Synthe Dunkirk camp
The camp in Northern France was destroyed due to the fight between Afghans and Kurds. The camp had given refuge to 1,500 migrants.
At least 10 people were injured, when the fire started near Durkik.
The north coast is a link for migrants to get to Britain.
The camp is utterly destroyed and mostly ashes are left.
Recently, the population of the camp has grown. Apparently, the arrival of more Afghans gave rise to tensions between them and Kurds. After a fight, migrants were evacuated and sent to two available gyms and emergency accommodations.
Since March, according to charity MFS, there were reported several violent incidents.
During this fight, 6 people were injured with a knife.
